Proud of my partnership with @oceanerfreediving
for my underwater adventures. Here with my very comfortable #COMP

that took a sec of her busy Manta shooting to make me the favor of a BTS photo. Gracias!!
CORALS - From Gili Asahan
Sculptured by nature the massive corals are the slowest growing species, adding between 5 and 25 millimeters (0.2–1 inch) per year to their length.
Freediving photography let us spend long time in the water and observe the little details of this extraordinary alien looking world.
Big shout out to @giliasahanecolodge
& Deep Blue Sea for becoming an excellent example of coral conservation in south Lombok islands.
Today we celebrate World Oceans Day by launching many messages of awareness, love and protection.
This is my humble participation, sharing a memory of harmony and beauty. Just a child that lives for and by the ocean smiling to us, what else could be more inspiring :) Dedicated to all my Ocean family around the Blue World
When we publish our photos on facebook, they loose a lot of quality and sometimes it's a shame we can not appreciate all the details.
For this photo, I added two crops with details so you can imagine better the amount of information that the sensor of camera can capture and gets lost during the image compression :) Thanks Lucia Roman, for the tip of adding some crops at my next post! good idea.
during my last trip to Tulum exploring new cenotes, this one, very spooky.. Shot with Canon 5d mkIV 16-35mm f2.8

I will always be fascinated by Caravaggio and his use of this technique based of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition.
Dark water and branches, makes the perfect scenario for practising this techniques. And even though it doesn't look like, it is an underwater photo.

Throwback Tuesday. One of the images that I didn't share from last year's @unitednations
Clean Seas photo shooting. And a good reminder about Plastic pollution in our Oceans and Seas.
This year all my intentions are to get involved in more environmental projects and spread the conservation message.. United we can!
