Here it is! Did you see the post we shared 3 days ago? A lot of you shared their thoughts on the subject: To show or not to show your face on Instagram to grow your account? 🤔 That is the question (read the comments if you missed it).
👉 You don’t have to if you don’t want to
👉 It depends on your industry (if you’re a blogger then people will want to follow YOU - and therefore want to see you)
👉 If you’re a service provider you should show your face to build trust
👉 It depends on your goal (do you need to sell yourself or your product/creativity?)
👉 You don’t have to show your face to be successful. Some of the biggest accounts hide their face, and show only their hands, their dog, quotes or drawings.
Not feeling comfortable showing your face? It’s ok. This is what you can do:
👉 Join the #fridayintroduction
trend. Every Friday (or on some Fridays) introduce yourself and share a photo of yourself
👉 You will notice that some of the most successful Instagrammers don’t show their face. They might be hiding it by: turning their back to the camera, taking photos of themselves from far away, wearing sunglasses 😎, having their hair hiding their face, showing their hands only (awesome way to make your feed look more “human”), cropping their head out of the photo, hiding their face behind an object (a book, their hands, a cup of coffee, plants, etc...), taking photos from above.
Your photos can still be awesome if you don’t show your full face. Swipe swipe to see some examples 😍👉
