Congrats to all the runners who raced this weekend! Nothing feels better than earning a finish line πŸ…πŸ…πŸ… Post-race blues are a real thing! Even if you hit a PR, it's common to feel a little bummed after the culmination of months of hard training. Here are some of my tips to Beat Post-Race Blues: 1. Identify a non-racing goal to accomplish in the next 3 weeks. This will give you renewed focus. 2. Talk about it! Reach out to fellow runners. They understand. 3. Cross train. Explore workouts that have taken a back seat to long training miles. 4. Sleep in. You earned it. 5. Write down something you loved about this training cycle and what you have to work on for the next race. Taking inventory allows us to take the good, improve the bad, and set our sights to the future. There is no single finish line. This is a lifestyle!
