Set yourself free, by opening up 💫
You don’t have walk thin lines to stay a float. You can talk, share what’s going on inside you’re mind & open up to someone. I’ve said it many times before that the day I started to talk about how I was feeling & some of the thoughts inside of my head was the day I I started to be less afraid of those thoughts. Mental illness can effect anyone, it doesn’t discriminate in any way and It is such an important subject that everyone needs to be aware of and not afraid to talk about. When you don’t feel okay, know that you are not alone. Those around you are here for you. As well as lifeline, professionals or even me. You never have to feel like you are in the world alone, unable to voice what’s going on. I stayed quiet for a long time & it was hard. The voices in my head were loud & horrible. My silence was killing me. It was terrifying to ask for help, to admit that I didn’t feel okay, but it would’ve been harder if I never said anything. I know I wouldn’t be here today. It’s because I spoke ; started to talk to my family, my friends, professionals and allowed them to help me improve my mental health that it did exactly that. It was hard & took a long time, but slowly I started feeling better. I encourage everyone to talk to those around you regularly about how you feel. Bottling up feelings may feel like the easy way to not burden others, however it’s putting more weight on yourself. Talk. #itsnotweaktospeak
