The Langar or free kitchen was started by the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji in about 1481. It is designed to uphold the principle of equality between all people of the world regardless of religion, caste, colour, creed, age, gender or social status; to eliminate extreme poverty in the world and to bring about the birth of "caring communities". In addition to the ideals of equality, the tradition of Langar expresses the ethics of sharing, community, inclusiveness and oneness of all humankind. "..the Light of God is in all hearts." **Bhagat Ravidas ji** de Parkash Purab Diyan Lakh Lakh Vadhayian..!
*Bhagat Ravidas Ji* showed humanity the path to meet Akal purkh in those days when the so called 'High caste' people used to say that Bhagat Ravidas ji is "Chamar" (low caste according to the brahmin) he cannot show the path to god. *Bhagat Ravidas ji* showed the whole caste system that these caste's have no meaning you cannot judge a person on the basis of their caste or work. *Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj* has Bhagat Ravidas Ji's *Bani* which is the ultimate proof of Bhagat Ji's connection with the Akal purkh. Gurmat does not believe in caste system but the bitter truth today is we all are surrounded by this caste system. We need to remove this filth of low and high caste from our society and should consider every person equal as Guru Sahib has taught us the lesson of equality. We bow down to Bhagat Ravidas ji and will get inspired by their thoughts and history. We present a small mythical illustration of *Bhagat Ravidas Ji*.

"When you are plagued by great and excessive anxiety, and diseases inflict your body. When you are wrapped up in the attachments of household and family, sometimes feeling joy and other times feeling sorrow. When you are wandering around in all four directions and you cannot sit or sleep even for a moment. If you come to remember the Supreme God, then your body and mind shall be cooled and soothed."
