#MANCHESTERUNITED PERSPECTIVE ON #HUDDERSFIELDTOWN 0-2 #MANUNITED BY @mufc.feed ▪▪▪▪ "We travelled to John Smith's Stadium for a Cup clash against Huddersfield Town. Jose Mourinho made six changes to the line-up, with Pogba out due to illness. The boss finally changed to 4-3-3. We started the game with a goal by Lukaku who was assisted by Mata. Huddersfield Town were brilliant and attacking constantly but weren't troubling the goalkeeper. And then we attacked and this time Mata was through on goal and scored but the VAR did his job calling it an offside. We switched to defensive mode I suppose because again Huddersfield were attacking and attacking but weren't finding the net and this caused them the second goal when we played the counter attack, with Sanchez playing tge through ball to Lukaku who made it 2-0. We won the game, but had only 5 shots, while Huddersfield had 19. I think that the 4-3-3 is paying off. Hope we continue this perfomance in the UCL and in the League. ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ Follow @teeamfutbol for more great club perspectives and match reviews! ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ #manu #manunited #football #footie #soccer #futbol #futebol #premierleague #josemourinho #mourinho #pl #footie #futball #huddersfield #unitedfans #united #unitedfan #alexis #sanchez #daviddegea #degea #facup GGMU🔴💯"
#BARCELONA PERSPECTIVE ON #EIBAR 0-2 #FCBARCELONA BY @shahmiramir : ▪▪▪▪▪▪ "A considerably difficult game comes to end where we beat Eibar 2-0 away from home. From the kickoff, Eibar dominated possession and played a beautiful game. The quick passes and swift movement off the ball had us chasing shadows. Our defense was rock solid though and although they dominated possession, we didn't let them create one clear chance which is quite remarkable. We opened the deadlock on a counter attack in which Messi laid a GOATly ball to Suarez through 3 defenders amd Suarez made nomade no error in putting it home. The time we actually got some grip on the game was when Coutinho came on. He created a number of chances which ultimately lead to the second goal by Jordi Alba. Great job by the boys to bag 3 more points ahead of the Chelsea game. FA CUP PREVIEW: #MANCHESTERUNITED 🔴 VS #HUDDERSFIELDTOWN 🔵 BY @MUFC.FEED ▪▪▪▪ "We continue our FA Cup Journey as we face Huddersfield Town. Jose Mourinho's side will be hoping to overcome their recent frustration against Newcastle United. Jose Mourinho confirmed that Eric Baily is set to play against Huddersfield Town but Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford are ruled out. He also confrimed that Pogba will be in action against our next opponents. I think we should play 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-3-1, because it gives Pogba freedom. What are your score predictions? #ARSENAL PERSPECTIVE ON #OSTERSUND 0-3 #ARSENALFC BY @shriyutjha : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "Arsenal arrived in Sweden to freezing temperatures but we're expected to blow away the minnows of Ostersund. We went straight for the goal since minute 1, missed a few chances but it paid off when Monreal put us in front in the 12th minute. From that moment it looked like an easy night for us but honestly I expected more goals. We scored again in the 24th minute with an own goal but then the Swedish side came alive and looked more dangerous. We managed to keep the 0-2 lead at half time. With half an hour to go Ozil pulled out his trademark shot to put 3 at the back. Ostersund were rewarded a consolation penalty which an Arsenal fan Petterson couldn't convert. A good result I would say but hardly breathtaking" ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ Follow @teeamfutbol for more great content! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #premierleague #pl #football #northlondonderby #footballfan #soccerfans #soccerfan #soccer #futebol #futbol #futball #afc #arsenalfc #spurs #arsenalfootballclub #gooners #gunner #yagunnersya #ozil #aubameyang #mkhitaryan #europaleague
#REALMADRID PERSPECTIVE ON #MADRID 3-1 #PSG BY @nitayaggarwal : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "That's how it's done! One simply can never rule Real out of this competition irrespective how our form is. Pure delight and big relief to finally believe that we have a chance of achieving something this season. Starting with the 4-3-1-2 formation with Isco instead of Bale was disappointing to see. Benching an in form Bale against a weak PSG defense could have have helped but Zidane clearly gave more importance to defense. Both halves of the game we started with a lot of energy and a high press which was successful in putting pressure of PSG but as the game progressed they ultimately got more comfortable on the ball. Isco was simply played to help close down Neymar but he wasn't up to it, as Neymar found his way against our defense time and again. Carvajal's absence was another massive reason Neymar got so much space and impact as Nacho simply couldn't live up to the pressure of the game in attack or defense. The game was equally dominated by both sides throughout but Real failed to have a major impact in the final third. Isco was hardly helping and the two forwards often found themselves without any support which has been the story most of the season when Isco has played. Kroos and Modric and Marcelo were great to produce moments of brilliance with their contribution to the attack but it was finally a Cristiano penalty which helped us equalise against the PSG goal which came at a cost of dead midfielders. Real desperately needed a win so Zidane finally added pace and dimension to the attack when he brought Bale, Asensio and Vazquez against a tired PSG defense which clearly worked. We transformed into a 4-4-2 and got two amazing goals from Ronaldo and Marcelo both assisted by Asensio within ten minutes. The major positive was that our defense was great last night. Even PSG came close few time through Neymar but the centre was rock solid and didn't commit any error being a major reason. For our victory. This win is massive statement and proves the point that Madrid never gives up. Let's enjoy this win for the moment and hope to create history in France. HALA MADRID 🙌❤"
#TOTTENHAMHOTSPUR PERSPECTIVE ON #JUVENTUS 2-2 #SPURS BY @meir_schochet13 : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "It’s always exciting when Champions League comes around. Even more so when your team has a tough matchup. Spurs travelled to Torino to face probably the best Italian side this season. Early on it seemed like a disastrous away leg when the Italians went up 1-0 on a beautiful volley goal passed from Miralem Pjanic to Gonzalo Higuain in the 2nd minute. Soon after it was 2-0 when Davies ran into Federico Bernardeschi resulting in a pen and then goal from yet again Gonzalo Higuain. We had a penalty shout of our own 10 minutes later when Kane came together with Medhi Benatia but the ref was not impressed. Kane then had a chance to get a goal back from six yards in the 26th minute, only to draw a fine save from Gianluigi Buffon. We were looking more dangerous and the pressure paid off when Kane ran onto Dele Alli's through ball and rounded Buffon to bring us within reach at 2-1. We headed into the half with our heads up looking for that second goal. However just as we appeared to have a hold on the game Aurier mistimed his challenge on Douglas Costa to give Juventus another penalty, which by the luck of the lords in heaven Higuain hit off the woodwork to amazingly keep the difference to one. We then made Juve pay for their play, after Giorgio Chiellini fouled Alli in an advanced position, and Eriksen slotted a low free kick into the corner to level the score in the 71st. Statistics wise, Spurs dominated. We held ⅔ of the possession where Juve got the rest, and shots wise, we had 12 (6 on target) to their 9 (5 on target). MOTM I would gladly give to Harry Kane for a great performance. An abysmal start however turned into a slightly happy ending. Now we have to take these two away goals and finish the job at Wembley. #REALMADRID VS #PSG FIRST LEG PREVIEW BY REAL MADRID FAN @nitayaggarwal : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "From now on, every game we play gives direction to our season whether it be la liga or UCL. However, tomorrow's game is by far the most important game we have. To be the best we need to beat the best and no one does that better than us. All the players know the importance and dynamics for this game. Their confidence is high and they have delivered amazing results from these situations prior. Let it be PSG or any other opponent, our team can literally take on anybody. The world wants to see us fail but we will always emerge victorious. Let's forget whatever has happened until now and back our team cause this fixture has guaranteed fireworks and massive outcomes. #NEWCASTLE PERSPECTIVE ON #NUFC 1-0 #MANCHESTERUNITED BY @michaelmaclauchlan : ▪▪▪▪▪▪ "Manchester United headed to the northeast imagining a nice easy game, they didn't get one. They just couldn't score and they would not have if they'd been out there all day. Debutant goalkeeper Dubravka had a good game, albeit not flawless and the two midfielders were also very impressive. We started off the better side, forcing David de Gea into an excellent save early on from jonjo Shelvey, but then the Manchester club grew into it and Alexis Sanchez, Antony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Romelu lukaku all wasted chances. They had a goal disallowed early in the first half after lukaku stupidly pushed one of our defenders. But then, we scored a goal that stunned everyone. The defence was caught sleeping and Matt Ritchie popped up to hammer the ball past de Gea to send the geordies into a frenzy. I cannot remember a game I had wanted to win more than that one, not even against the Mackems. In a nervy last few minutes, Dubravka made a fine save to keep out Mctominay as Manchester United continued to fail to score. Then the ball dropped to Valencia on the edge of the box and it was deflected right into the keepers hands. The cheer that followed as Craig Pawson blew his whistle was immense. We had beaten, for years the best and by far the most unpopular team in Newcastle apart from Sunderland and I don't dislike the mackems more. We could have had a penalty when Dwight Gayle was brought down on the very edge of the box. Valencia should have been sent off for kicking Atsu in the face as they played a dirty game. Paul Pogba has to be the most overrated player in the Premier League because he is just a 90m pound flop. He didn't do a thing. Overall a decent performance by the team but the likes of Perez, Gayle, Ritchie were all very poor again. My player ratings are as follows: Dubravka 8 Dummett 6.5 Lejeune 6.5 Lascelles 6.5 Yedlin 6 Diame 8 Shelvey 8 Ritchie 5.5 Kenedy 6.5 Perez 2 Gayle 0 Benitez 1.5 Mourinho 0 Pawson 6 It brought memories back of two days in the clubs history, the best and the worst. #BARCELONA PERSPECTIVE ON #GETAFE 0-0 #FCBARCELONA BY @shahmiramir : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "An intense, yet a tiring match comes to an end where we drew against Getafe. To start with, Getafe has conceded the third least number of goals this season in La Liga so breaking their defence was meant to be difficult. The game was kicked off by Getafe but we got possession quite soon and started dominating the game as usual. Yerry Mina had his debut La Liga game, the first ever Colombian to play for Barça. He had a rock solid game, even got a chance in the first half but it was deflected wide for a corner. Barça even put the ball in the back of the net through Suarez from Messi's free kick but it was disallowed due to offside. We created a number of chances time and again but couldn't avail one. The players even seemed tired coming after just 2 days from the Valencia game in Del Rey. Overall it was a decent performance from us, Stegen had an excellent game and we're still on top of the table. The only negative is that we dropped 2 points and that our lead over Atletico Madrid is just 7 points now. #TOTTENHAMHOTSPUR PERSPECTIVE ON #SPURS 1-0 #ARSENAL BY @meir_schochet13 : ▪▪▪▪▪▪ "Arsenal. The Gunners. Our oldest and most hated rival. At Wembley. An exciting North London Derby ahead. The usual 4-2-3-1 was set and the match went off. Throughout the first half both teams showed valiant effort. Both teams were threatening on the counter-attack but it took until the 27th minute for the first real chance to arrive. Kane should have scored as he drifted beyond Nacho Monreal and Eriksen found him with a clipped cross, but the striker, unmarked, headed over. Spurs settled quicker but in truth the half deteriorated as it went on. Dier could have turned in a skewed Dembele shot but he also miskicked and by the whistle both teams looked in need of a reset. Once they re-emerged however, our lads took a lead, and For the next 30 minutes Arsenal were hanging on as Kane glanced Dier's delivery wide and then leathered a volley straight at Cech after Trippier had poked the ball through Jack Wilshere's legs. And as the derby came to an end, our boys were in the lead. Possession it was exactly equal surprisingly because of how poorly the Gunners played. However on shots, we dominated. With 18 (6 on target) to their 6 (1 on target) they were very heavily mismatched. With an elating win like this, it looks like it’ll be a fun Tuesday ahead of us when we play the strong Italian side Juventus in the Champions league knockout. #MANCHESTERCITY PERSPECTIVE ON #MANCITY 5-1 #LEICESTERCITY BY @flomotion_13 : ▪▪▪▪▪ "Manchester City hosted leicester in the Etihad Stadium and the fans expected nothing less than a victory after last weeks draw. A perfectly timed cross from De Bruyne, Aguero missed the ball but Raheem Sterling had no trouble putting us 1 - 0 up after just 3 minutes. After the early goal we shifted two gears back. Otamendi won an important challenge, but his pass was an assist for Vardy whoms pace was too much for our defence and he easily levelled. The first half ended 1-1. Guardiola did a good job in the break, because we played much better in the second half. Just 2 minutes in and De Bruyne assisted Aguero again with a perfect ball to put us up in front. Just 5 minutes later De Bruyne again passed to aguero who doubled our lead from close range. The match got even worse for leicester fans when Schmeichel's pass landed to Aguero who just chipped the ball into the back if the net. 4-1 up, but still not finished. In the dying minutes of the game Aguero got the chance to score his FOURTH goal of the evening. And he did so. With a powerful shot fron outside the box on the crossbar and in the back of the net. Foden's first PL assist, too. We showed a really good performance in the second half and a victory like that was so importanimportant after burnley. #comeoncity " ▪▪▪▪▪ Follow @teeamfutbal for more great club perspectives! ••• #city #citizens #mancity #manchester #debruyne #dyche #guardiola #football #soccer #footballfans #soccerfans #aguero #cpfc #penalty #premierleague #pl #burnley #soccerfans #nikefootball #tikitaka #kevindebruyne #bcfc #westbrom
#REALMADRID PERSPECTIVE ON #MADRID 5-2 #REALSOCIEDAD BY @nitayaggarwal : ▪▪▪▪▪ "Every match this season has been uncertain making it impossible to predict any result. The amount of ups and down just don't come to an end. The shock first came when Zidane decided to start with a 4-4-2 without bale, Isco or Casemiro, probably few of our most in form players in a match which we need to win. Don't know how that line up made sense but the on field display was rather surprising. Instead of holding the ball in the midfield and creating space we were playing offensive football with an all out attack mindset from the start. We forced them to cross the ball for their two strikers which they were unable to do anything with. Even though they combined well with the full backs, Marcelo and Carvajal countered them very well. Since we played attacking football, Real were awarded with 3 amazing goals before half by Ronaldo, Vazquez and Kroos. The second half started in the same way. For a change our defense looked strong and confident when until the 70 minute after which we conceded twice both in a disappointing manner. However when Kovacic Isco and Bale came on we further improved on our movement and got two great goals from Cristiano. The BBC along with Kroos, Modric and fullbacks had a brilliant game which was massive for not only their own confidence but also the entire team. The second looks a great revamp for the our forward line which is the most important at the moment considering the games coming up. With Ronaldo getting a hat-trick finally it gives a major relief and extra excitement for our UCL game but the season which we have seen we can't get to over confident. #ARSENAL PERSPECTIVE ON #TOTTENHAMHOTSPUR 1-0 #ARSENALFC BY @shriyutjha : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "Arsenal weren't the favorites of this match and certainly didn't play like favourites. First half was decent with both sides equally attacking in the opening 20 minutes but Arsenal started to slow down towards the end of first half and Spurs produced a few decent chances to make the most of this. Kane could've scored the opening goal but the ball was a bit too high. Arsenal produced a few chances but the best one was when Aubameyang ran past Sanchez to go for goal but was offside. Second half brought more creativity in Spurs' play. They utilized the early moments of second half to catch our defence off guard for which they were rewarded in the 49th minute when Kane calmly placed a header past Cech to deny him his cleansheet again. We struggled even more in the second half to produce chances and Spurs successful created pockets of space to trouble our defence. Iwobi and Lacazette were brought in to change things around but Iwobi couldn't produce much and Lacazette was abysmal today. He ruined two chances towards the end of the game which could've allowed Arsenal to steal something from the match which they didn't deserve to win. Cech despite his lacking form played well at moments but also made a few errors. Mustafi again was at fault on more than one occasion. We can be happy about Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan but we still have miles to go. I don't think top 4 is a realistic finish now and all of the focus should be on Europa league and winning it." ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ Follow @teeamfutbol for more great content! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #premierleague #pl #football #northlondonderby #footballfan #soccerfans #soccerfan #soccer #futebol #futbol #futball #afc #arsenalfc #spurs #arsenalfootballclub #gooners #gunner #yagunnersya #ozil #aubameyang #mkhitaryan
#FCBARCELONA PERSPECTIVE ON #VALENCIACF 0-2 #BARCELONA IN THE COPA DEL REY SEMI FINAL BY @shahmiramir : ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ "An absolutely astounding game comes to an end as we proceed to the Copa Del Rey Final for the fifth time in a row. The game was kicked off by Barça and we dominated possession as usual but Valencia looked quite threatening on the attack and ended up hitting the post early on. We created a number of chances in the first half but none of them were clear cut for a goal. Andre Gomes had one of his worst games in a Blaugrana shirt. He was immediately subbed off at half time by our boss bringing on tbringing on the super sub, Coutinho. As soon as he came on, just in the 49th minute, he was set up by Suarez for his first goal for Barça. A very iconic goal for us; one of many for Coutinho to come and also the decisive goal to take us through to the finals. Soon Suarez also gave an assist for Rakitic who sealed us the spot in the final. The GOAT had an absolutely GOATly game, dribbling past the Valencia players time and again. Even Yerry Mina made his debut for Barça tonight coming on for  Piqon for  Pique who had an amazing game. Overall a superb performance by Barça away from home, another Valverde masterclass who deserves all the praise to seal us the finalist spot. #NEWCASTLE PERSPECTIVE ON #CPFC 1-1 #NUFC BY @michaelmaclauchlan : "Crystal Palace absolutely dominated Newcastle in the game at Selhurst Park. Other than a 10 minute period it was a one team game. Mo Diame gave Newcastle a shock lead from a corner where Palace lost their markers but from then on Palace dominated. They wasted chance after chance after chance and it looked like we might hold on. Until Ciaran Clark gave away a controversial penalty which Milovojevic scored - Darlow should have saved it though. You thought Palace would win it but they couldn't score the crucial second. We didn't defend well but they had no luck. It shows a continuous problem though. We can go 1-0 up but then our manager will make us sit back and we will eventually concede. There is no plan B for when we concede. We have to be willing to go for the second goal or we'll never win games. With all of the teams like Swansea, West Ham, Palace, West Brom, Everton, Bournemouth, Watford, Stoke and others picking up form, it looks increasingly likely that we will be in the Championship next season. We have to sack this manager or we will drop a division. #FCBARCELONA PERSPECTIVE ON #BARCELONA 1-1 #ESPANYOL BY @shahmiramir : ▪▪▪▪▪ "It was matchday 22 of La Liga and Barça had to face Espanyol away from home. It was a very tough match before it even started considering the fact that Espanyol broke our unbeaten run of all competitions. The weather conditions of the match were dreadful and it was raining heavily. The match was kicked off by Espanyol but Barça were swift to win back the ball almost immediately. We continued to dominate the game and possession but the presence of Messi was greatly missing. Coutinho rattled the prattled the post from a long shot at the 21st minute and that was the closest we got to the goal in the first half. Then came the second half and Valverde brought on Messi for Alcacer and Roberto for Semedo. Messi immediately made an impact by dribbling past 5 Espanyol defenders on his FIRST touch of the game. Since the condition of the pitch became even worse as the game got on, it felt as if we were playing football on a river. The passing became extremely difficult as the ball would not roll on the watery surface. This led to Digne giving away the ball to Espanyol, and Garcia crossed the ball onto the head of Gerard Moreno to open the scoring. We were trailing yet again in this stadium and Valverde immediately brought of Jordi Alba for Digne. This led to Barça creating a number of chances time and again and soon, by a brilliant assist from the GOAT through a freekick, Gerard Pique scored the equaliser. It was an intense derby and there were numerous heated occasions in the endoccasions in the end due to which even the referee couldn't control the players. The match ended 1-1, and although it was a draw and we dropped 2 points, I am pretty happy with the result considering the heated environment, dreadful pitch conditions and tremendous pressure by the away crowd. #MANCHESTERUNITED PERSPECTIVE ON #MANUNITED 2-0 #HUDDERSFIELDTOWN BY @iammekaalhasan : ▪▪▪▪▪▪ "Now thats what we want from United every match. A splendid perfomance from our defence, midfield, and attack. With Alexis Sanchez making his home debut, Mourinho was expecting great things from the Chilean and the team. Huddersfield Town were here to defend. United attacked throughout the match creating pressure. The first half action was all from United as Lingard and Sanchez shots were denied by Lossl to keep Huddersfield in the game. Scott Mctominay had a great game and was even selected ahead of Pogba. United started the second half, attacking and creating chances while Huddersfield were just defending. United got the lead through Lukaku who slotted the ball home after Juan Mata's cross. Paul Pogba who was left out of the squad was subbed on for Lingard. Sanchez then was fouled by Hefele, and United were awarded a penalty. Sanchez's first effort was saved by Lossl but he converted it from the rebound. Our New Number 7 looked like a warrior who was fouled by the Huddersfield players throughout the game. We won the game 2-0 and reduced the gap to first to 13 points. GGMU FANS! #TOTTENHAMHOTSPUR PERSPECTIVE ON #LFC 2-2 #SPURS BY @meir_schochet13 : ▪▪▪▪▪▪ "A match at Anfield against a top tier Liverpool is always a tough day for the Spurs but confidence is high so we were ready for the challenge. Pochettino started us in the usual 4-2-3-1 and early on the Reds struck with Mohamed Salah knocking in a very nice shot past Lloris in the third minute. He had yet another opportunity to strike in the 18th and just missed the goal off a corner. The lads headed to the break 1-0 down after a very heavily dominated half by the reds. However, right off the bat, coming into the second half the boys were much more energized knocking in attempts right and left. Coming into the final third of the game it looked as if the Reds would walk away with the win, but in classic Spurs fashion, Wanyama knocked in an amazing shot to the top left bringing us level. Kane missed a controversial penalty at 1-1. Looking to end in a draw now, the first minute of stoppage time, Salah hit in another shot from the six yard box to the bottom right. Assuming they won the game many Reds fas turned off the television after this, but the game was far from over. Van Dijk, the highest paid defender not, conceded a foul inside the penalty area, and looking for goal number 100, Mister Harry Kane walked up to the ball and knocked one into the bottom right area. Grabbing a point at Anfield is always a good feeling, and having a legend score 100 goals in the league is also a good feeling. Shots wise we dominated with 13 (6 on target) and they had 9 (3 on target), and we had around 2/3s of the possession due to that superb second half. Looking forward to that FA Cup rematch, the Spurs won a decisive and needed matchup in good fashion.
