HOW I BECAME (HAPPY)
It was an easy decision. Back home I always used to have a creative job... until I burned out. I started to feel unhappy, searching for something more, longing for change. I wanted to go for trip around the world but I didn’t have any savings so the only option how to travel was to become a flight attendant.
What wasn’t easy was to change my green country for the dusty desert, my language for english and my creative job for serving chicken, beef or pasta...
Real challenge was to work in crazy hours and with crazy people of different nationalities. It took me almost 2 years to get over some culture shocks. First year I was really struggling, trying to convince myself: Hold on one more year, earn the money, see as much as possible and leave back home...
But after two years of flying my inner voice has totally changed its tone: Ok, ok, I know I should do normal job by now, but just one more year and then I will leave...
And after three years: Please, let me do this job for at least one more year...
Traveling round the world and living globally is addictive! If I feel like to have some proper Japanese matcha tea I just request to operate flight to Tokyo. Accommodation provided by company, no taxes, 90% off flight tickets to all over the world and more days off than in any other job.
I believe It’s even better job than being influencer coz nobody is telling me what to post and where to go. No stress if any future offer come to pay my bills. Im regularly paid for bringing the people to amazing places but on my off days I’m the one who pays my travel costs, so it’s always my choice. I don’t have to collaborate with brands I don’t like. I can do only what I truly love. And I have quite a lot of time for that. So in the end of the day, try not to fell in love with this job! It gives me the real wings to fly free...
P.S.: I hate cliché but #ilovemyjob
