Alek Raimonde, 7th grade student at Rossi Intermediate School, and Adrian Ferrer, 8th grade student at Veterans Memorial School, were honored by the Vineland Board of Education on Wednesday for their selection to the All South Jersey Junior High School Band this year. This is Raimonde’s first selection and Ferrer’s third. Both performed on the trumpet. Raimonde and Ferrer were selected from a pool of 322 students from 85 middle schools throughout South Jersey. They performed in a concert on March 4, held in Egg Harbor Township.
